Citrine is one of November’s designated stone and ever since ancient times this birthstone was though to be beneficial to the wearer. How so? Well, it was even thought that this yellow beautiful stone would somehow ward away any snake venom. That’s a bit hard to believe today I guess…

In modern days, apart from symbolic and curative acceptance, we believe that citrine makes wonderfully crafted jewelry. Everyone agrees and I personally think that Citrine is the most representative stone for November. Its color ranges from very light yellow to exquisite brown just like the fall color palette – very natural indeed.

There are not many yellow gemstones in the world and if one finds one, you can be sure it most likely will be expensive! Real and natural Citrine is very rare and this makes it very valuable. Hoping you are now curious about this warm colored stone and the jewelry that can be crafted from it, I give you just a small taste: Citrine Dangling Earrings – as a reminder for this week that we are celebrating Autumn’s beauty throughout jewelry!
