So, what is an engagement ring all about? An engagement ring symbolises the intention of a couple to wed in the near future. Is the ring that is given to a person when you either propose to them, or they propose to you.
By tradition the man would propose to the woman, but nowadays a woman can as well propose without any problem. Even more, you both can wear engagement rings if you choose to do so. It is like you both decided to show the world your commitement and future plans.

It also displays how serious you actually are about the changes that are about to take place in both your life, and the life of the person that you have made the promise to. 
Let’s go to the next step. Wedding bands. Wedding bands can also be set in stone but there are not to be confused with engagement rings. The big difference is the fact that they come after the engagement ring and they are the symbol of the actual marriage. If you have a wedding ring then you have already been married and are starting out on your new life.

DANHOV MADE A DIFFICULT SITUATION AN EAAAASY CHOICE!
Gotta thank this guy. Somehow found this jewelry website online that said they specialized in engagement rings. It took me all of about 5 minutes to find the right ring with the right price. She ended up LOVING the ring while I was telling her how many places I had to go to so I could find the “right” one. HAHA
Needles to say I did my part, kiss cam and all. Got the girl and didn’t even have to miss the game. The rest is on her.

I have never heard of men wearing engagement rings before, but this is an interesting idea, and pretty nice, if you ask me. If a woman has to show she’s taken, he should too!

My fiance and I both wear engagement rings why should the girls be the only ones to bling bling. He wanted it to show his devotion to me. I think it should be a trend no one wants someone hitting on their fiance just because they see no ring.
