They say bangles are back! Great news, but not so impressive, since for me bangles were always “in”.
Bangle bracelets have various origins since they are part of ancient jewelry on several continents. Since the Oscars, street fashion takes a new turn in favor of Indian influences. Needless to said that I was impressed ever since by the sparkling colorful bangles Indian women wear on their hands.
Cuff bracelets and metal bangles have also been present since old days. Bangles make ones eyes turn to the hands of the person and observe their movement. Some might find then distracting or loud when worn in a bigger number, I just find them youthful and cheerful and very attractive.
Bangles as you know come in various colors, shapes and materials. Wood, plastic or metal they definitely do the trick at catching ones eye. They are usually part of a casual outfit, modern and make for a great accessory anytime.
