If there’s a point that I might be able to add in from an experienced guys perspective; it would be to advise all of you out there about to purchase a diamond in any form, to make absolutely sure that it has been G.I.A. rated. I didn’t know too much about the G.I.A. prior to shopping for engagement rings for my wife, however I learned a lot about them when I found a retailer who sold gems rated exclusively by GIA.
Purchasing a diamond that comes ready with a GIA grading report is the absolute best way to be certain about the gem that you’re purchasing. In my own mind, I was consumed by the fact that the rings I were eyeing were quite some investments – so it really made sense to me that I should have a thorough grading report come with my purchase.
