The vivid green of the peridot, with just a slight hint of gold, is the ideal gemstone color to go with that light summer wardrobe.
The most beautiful stones come from the border area between Pakistan and Afghanistan. However, the peridot as a gemstone also exists in Myanmar, China, the USA, Africa and Australia. Stones from East Burma, now known as Myanmar, have a vivid light green and fine inclusions with a silky shine to them.
Peridot, also called Olivine is in general a very abundant mineral, but gem quality peridot is rather rare. These are some of the most precious peridot gemstones, transformed into jewelry, I have came across so far.

Der Peridotstein ist wirklich ein wunderschöner Edelstein, besitze leider nicht all zu viele Schmuckstücke mit so einem Stein da sie leider etwas zu teuer sind.
“The Peridot is truly a beautiful gem, unfortunately do not many jewels with such a stone as they are unfortunately somewhat expensive.“
