I have chosen a 18k gold wide cuff bracelet for this week. It is a simple but elegant choice, a piece of jewelry that goes nearly with everything. It is a must have in a jewelry wardrobe and you can go with a gold substitute if you like. It is important thought that the bracelet is wide, concave, with a polished finish and slides easily onto the wrist.

She is a passionate painter and jeweler and her creativity helps exploring a new approach in jewelry design. So what inspired Alice such intriguing designs? This “Written on the Body” ring/bracelet, as well as this kind of artistic jewelry is ment to make people aware of their own bodies.

Her unusual bracelet or I should say hand jewelry, forms a network of silver pathways much like real veins or blood vessels on the backs of our hands. Instead of a gemstone, a wrapped wisdom tooth adorns the piece.

Here’s a jewelry that we haven’t quite included in our post as a main topic. Yet it is very strange because i guess they are just as effective as rings, necklaces or earrings. Jewelry lovers may lobby their personal preference and now it’s my turn. My choice: bracelets.

You may argue that’s it’s not as striking to ones appearance as let’s say earrings which bring the attention to ones face and expression. Bracelets are a more subtle type of jewelry, they don’t strike you from the start as the first thing you notice about a person is not the hands, but generally the face. I chose bracelets because they accentuate a woman’s movements, rafinement, because hands say a lot about a person.

One of my personal favourites are cuff bracelets. They are fit for thinner hands and they draw a lot of attention because of the size. Cuff bracelets have history behind and ornate hands since ancient times.

Bangles make aslo quite an effect. The bangle sound is quite characteristic.

Bracelets are just lovely in any type of shape color or material as long as they accesorize properly. Sometimes they fit perfectly an outfit, sometimes they create an impact by contrast. Use them wisely, but do use them!
