This jewelry idea started when Sarah Van Gameren decided to put together all the names of her family members and ancestors. She wanted to value and cherish them in a jewelry piece. The inspiration came from ‘name jewelry’ young girls wear and the result is a surprising necklace that can vary in size depending on the abundance of one’s family tree. Do you like it?

This week’s chosen jewelry is a jelly-fish like (in my personal opinion) necklace. Courtney Starrett is an inventive jewelry designer and this necklace is her personal design.

A Beautiful Autumn Leaf Necklace

This necklace is a beautiful earthy autumn red maple leaf made from polymer clay.  This make is it an incredible light pendant + it gives a realistic touch.

The model of the pendant is a real maple leaf. The ends of the leaf curl out, imitating a real leaf, and adding dimension to the piece. Both sides of the pendant are textured with the leaf vein pattern.
