<p>This &#8220;Open &amp; Closed Necklace&#8221; created by Mark Pawson and Tatty Devine surprised me just the other day. A fun idea for a fashion accessory and I believe that this necklace surely draws attention on the wearer. Imagine yourself walking down the street wearing such a message on your pendant.</p>
<p>The &#8220;Open &amp; Closed Necklace&#8221; is reversible so you can switch it on a different side, depending on your mood. I enjoy discovering creative, multi-colored, &#8220;funtastic&#8221; jewelry, remember the <a href="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/woow-jewelry/unusual-jewelry/">flower pot ring</a>? In this case, the plastic pendant with multi-colored letters measures 2&#8243; x .75&#8243; and hangs from an 18&#8243; chunky metal chain.</p>
<p>So&#8230;what do you think?</p>

<p>The brilliance of a diamond comes from the way it is cut, but why hang on to the same regular pattern. I was quite fascinated to discover an innovative way to cut stones and make then look even better. I must admit that I am attracted to creativity rather than standard or classical designs. So here they are: the curl-cut gemstones.</p>
<div id="attachment_1669" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 190px"><a href="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/11_41ct_rubellite.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1669" title="rubellite" src="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/11_41ct_rubellite-180x300.jpg" alt="11.41ct Rubellite" width="180" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">11.41ct Rubellite</p></div>
<div id="attachment_1670" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 213px"><a href="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/chan1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1670" title="amethyst " src="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/chan1.jpg" alt="33.75ct Amethyst" width="203" height="246" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">33.75ct Amethyst</p></div>
<div id="attachment_1671" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 235px"><a href="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/31_08aqua2.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1671" title="aquamarine" src="http://www.jewelrybloguncovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/31_08aqua2-225x300.jpg" alt="31.08ct Aquamarine" width="225" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">31.08ct Aquamarine</p></div>
<p>The totally custom jewelry are at the point where jewelry and art best combine. The gemstones are natural, thus untreated, and one of a kind carved. The settings for this gorgeous rare stones are also custom made, so the pieces are truly unique in both stone and setting.</p>
