Diamond buying mistakes

Diamond buying mistakes

Here are some of the mistakes we usually make when buying diamonds:

1. Assuming that a diamond can be bought without professional guidance.

2. Choosing a certain color and clarity grade and then shopping for the lowest price to such a diamond.

3. Imagining that all diamonds that have the same cut, color and clarity are the same.

4. Supposing that all diamonds are well cut.

5. Not asking for a free lifetime guarantee.

6. Choosing to buy a diamond basing on price alone.

7. Buying a diamond without a proper certification.

8. Only because a diamond is discounted it doesn’t make it a good deal.

9. Forgetting that bigger is not necessarily better.

10. Not purchasing your diamond from small and traditional Jewelers, who can afford the luxury to select quality diamonds.
